I-Jury - Online Impaneling of Williamson County Jurors
Welcome to Williamson County's I-Jury for the Justice Court for precinct one, Williamson County, Texas. This program is an adaptation of the award-winning jury program developed by the Travis County District Clerks office to process jury impaneling online. Special thanks go out to Amalia Rodriguez-Mendoza and the Travis County IT department for their willingness to share the technology and know-how for the citizens of Williamson County.
You can use I-Jury to
- impanel,
- tell us of schedule conflicts,
- be excused, or
- let us know you are not qualified to serve.
WHAT TO EXPECT
If you are assigned to a trial, it will start after 5/17/2008 and end no later
than 7/30/2008. You will
have an opportunity to tell us about any important schedule conflicts you may
have between those dates.
Completing online impaneling can take up to twenty minutes, though it can be
completed in as few as five. During the process, we will...
- make sure you are qualified for jury service in Williamson County,
- determine whether you qualify for an exemption,
- find out about your schedule conflicts,
- have you complete a brief questionnaire about yourself, and
- have you certify that your answers throughout the process have been true
and accurate.
After completing the process, you should hear from the Court within
five business days.
PRIVACY
All of the information you provide during impaneling is strictly
confidential. By law, it may only be disclosed to court personnel and,
if you are assigned to a case, to the judge, attorneys, defendants, and
plaintiffs in that case.
